Joey Ren is a documentary filmmaker based in
Los Angeles. He hopes to make a living out of talking to interesting people.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, he is now a senior at Loyola Marymount University, pursuing a B.A. in Film & TV Production, and a B.A. in Theology. He is credited on over 40 short films, features, documentaries, music videos and commercials.

His debut documentary short film, titled Just F*cking Create!, premiered at the 2025 Calabasas Film Festival. He is currently in post-production for Go West, his second documentary short.

Joey is in perpetual pursuit of a good book, his next tattoo, or an IPA with a funny name.
